Visiting

Prospective students interested in visiting the research center should make schedule arrangements with a faculty member. The closest airport is Pasco, WA (40 minutes) or Yakima, WA, (60 mintues) from Prosser, WA.   There are three major airports approximately three hours of Prosser which are located in Seattle, Spokane, and Portland. Prospective students can make arrangements to stay in the Transisitional Housing on campus or can find lodging at a nearby hotel.

Housing

Transistional Housing function is to provide temporary (not to exceed 6 months)  housing for graduate student while seeking longer term housing.    Rooms will be maintained as a single occupancy for as long as possible.  However, during periods of high occupancy, two people may be assigned to a room.   Cleaning duties will be shared by all persons staying more than one week and will be delegated to resisdents by the Dormitory Manager.  Nightly rates effective January 1, 2012 is $10.00, subject to change.  If you are interested in making a reservation, please contact your supervisor to complete the Transistional Housing Request/Agreement form.
